Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships

Summary of Position:

As Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships you will play a role in shaping the Academy's growth strategy by supporting the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships with various duties related to activating partnerships and help coordinating partnership events. This position involves coordinating various activities, from initial outreach to assisting with the implementation of partnership agreements and ongoing relationship management. By serving as a point of contact for partners, the coordinator ensures smooth communication and collaboration, aiming to maximize the benefits of the partnership for all involved. Through strategic planning and coordination, the Partnership Coordinator helps to expand the organization's network, enhance its market presence, and contribute to its overall success by leveraging the strengths and resources of its partners. This role is designed to foster relationships between ACM and its partners, ensuring that both parties work together effectively to achieve common goals including supporting our mission of connecting industry, artists and fans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential new partners by analyzing market trends and aligning them with organizational goals and objectives. 
  • Gain and share understanding of ACM partner’s organization, strategies, and decision-making structures to identify opportunities for growth, develop, and maintain relationships with existing partners through regular communication, meetings, and updates to ensure mutual satisfaction and achievement of partnership goals. 
  • Create and maintain standard and customized proposals, recap decks, and tracking documents for all ACM partners and prospects. 
  • Help with partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring they meet the strategic and financial objectives of the organization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams internally to ensure partnership deliverables are met, via communication between ACM departments including but not limited to marketing, artist and industry, finance departments, etc… and outside 3rd parties.
  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to ordering supplies and materials, assisting with general office and/or clerical duties, review, edit, and submission of partnership assets, internal paperwork, accounting, expenses, special projects, etc… ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and report tracking document information on the performance of partnerships, including analyzing the data to assess the success of partnership activities and return on investment.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between partners and the organization to ensure longterm relationship sustainability.
  • Organize and execute partnership events and co-marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and achieve marketing objectives.
  •  Research and apply for partnership awards and recognitions to enhance the organization's reputation and showcase successful collaborations.

Skills Required:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field required. 2+ years Strategic Partnership experience required. 
  • 2+ years Strategic Partnership experience required.
  • Previous industry experience as well as knowledge preferred. 
  • Proven relationship management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and performance monitoring skills are essential. 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and in writing, within an internal team environment as well as to external 3rd parties. 
  • Experience using various Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Google Suite, and the ability to learn business related systems and/or software. 
  • Strong team player, maintains professional disposition, and the ability to perform under pressure. 
  • Self-motivated and results oriented person, able to lead projects, highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive employee and business data.
