ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® WELCOMES MAC McANALLY FOR A VISIT

Encino, CA (October 28, 2015) – The Academy of Country Music welcomed legendary singer/songwriter and Mailboat Records recording artist Mac McAnally to the office while he was in Los Angeles recently. While at the Academy, McAnally previewed songs from his new album, AKA Nobody, along with playing some of his hits recorded by superstars Alabama, Kenny Chesney and many more.

ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC ANNOUNCES OPEN SUBMISSIONS DATE & CRITERIA CHANGES FOR THE 51st ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® AWARDS COUNTRY MUSIC RADIO AWARDS CATEGORIES

ENCINO, CA (October 26, 2015) –The Academy of Country Music announced today that open submissions for the 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will begin Monday, November 9, 2015 and will end at 4:00 PM CT on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. The 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at a date to be announced on the CBS Television Network. In addition, the Academy is announcing several criteria changes in radio categories.

JAKE OWEN PRESENTS BOB ROMEO WITH GOLDEN HEART AWARD FROM MIDNIGHT MISSION

Encino, CA (October 5, 2015) – The Midnight Mission (TMM) honored the Academy of Country Music’s leader Bob Romeo Thursday night at a star-studded Beverly Hills Golden Heart Awards gala celebrating those with a philanthropic spirit. Country music superstar and ACM Award winner Jake Owen was on hand to pay tribute to Romeo and present him with the honor following a 4-song set that had the audience on its feet.
