Country Elite Join Lionel Richie for ACM Special

You may know him from his time with the Commodores (“Brick House,” “Easy,” “Sail On”) or his legendary hits of the ‘80s (“Dancing on the Ceiling,” “Hello,” “All Night Long”), but legendary singer-songwriter Lionel Richie cut his teeth on a Southern mixture of country, R&B and Gospel music as a kid in Tuskegee, Alabama. NATIONAL FINALS RODEO 2011

For the sixth consecutive year, the Academy of Country Music will host the Academy of Country Music Stage at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) held in Las Vegas from Thursday, December 1st through Saturday, December 10th. New country artists will take the Academy of Country Music Stage in the Cowboy Corral, a special area created by Las Vegas Events, to entertain NFR fans inside the Cox Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The event is free to NFR fans and open to all ticket holders.

ACM LIFTING LIVES TAKES CHICAGO BY STORM WITH FIRST-EVER IN-MARKET FUNDRAISER & LOCAL PHILANTHROPY PUSH

Encino, CA (November 3, 2011) – ACM Lifting Lives® took the windy city by storm recently, hosting the first-ever stand-alone benefit concert and giving away $75,000 in gifts to Chicago-based charities that align with Lifting Lives’ mission of improving lives through the power of music. The full ACM Lifting Lives Board of Directors also traveled to Chicago for one of its annual meetings.
