ACM ANNOUNCES OPEN SUBMISSIONS DATE FOR 49th ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® AWARDS COUNTRY MUSIC RADIO AWARDS CATEGORIES

ENCINO, CA (October 21, 2013) –The Academy of Country Music announced today that open submissions for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will begin Monday, November 11, 2013 and will end at 2pm PT on Friday, December 6, 2013. The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air LIVE on CBS Television next spring, date to be announced soon.

“MY CAUSE” WEB FEATURE FOR OCTOBER SPOTLIGHTS LAUREN ALAINA AND “PROJECT UNIFY”

Encino, CA (October 9, 2013) – ACM Lifting Lives® announced today that the October “My Cause” web feature will spotlight Lauren Alaina and the charity organization, Special Olympics Project UNIFY. Alaina is a Special Ambassador for Project Unify, and traveled to PyeongChang, South Korea last January for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games. The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.
