Encino, CA (May 22, 2015) – During the past five months, club shows around the country have collectively raised nearly $30,000 for ACM Lifting Lives®, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music.  Shows featuring Gary Allan, Easton Corbin, Tyler Farr, Sam Hunt, Jerrod Niemann, Eric Paslay, Chase Rice and The Swon Brothers donated a portion of ticket sales to ACM Lifting Lives, which will go to help fund organizations that are improving lives through the power of music.  The club shows were sponsored by Mattress Firm.

Clubs included Coyote Joe’s in Charlotte, NC, Gillioz Theatre in Springfield, MO, Grizzly Rose in Denver, CO, Joe’s Bar in Chicago, IL, Midnight Rodeo in Springfield, MO, The Bluestone in Columbus, OH, The Rave in Milwaukee, WI and Wild Bill’s in Duluth, GA.

“We were really excited to bring back the club benefit shows again this year after the success of the first year,” said Ed Warm, ACM Lifting Lives Board Member and co-owner of Joe’s Bar in Chicago, “The clubs, artists and fans stepped up once again to raise money to help ACM Lifting Lives continue to improve lives through the power of music.”

“We are thrilled and beyond grateful for the amount of money raised for ACM Lifting Lives and we appreciate the ongoing support that we receive from the clubs and artists involved,” said Hannah Martin, ACM Lifting Lives Manager.

As part of the initiative, fans who attended were encouraged to take a photo of their ticket and tweet it tagging @ACMAwards, using #ACMLiftingLivesBenefit.  One lucky fan won a trip to the record setting 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX via the Twitter contest.
