“MY CAUSE” WEB FEATURE THEME FOR JULY IS “COUNTRY FOR KIDS”
WEB FEATURE AVAILABLE ON ACMLIFTINGLIVES.ORG STARTING TODAY
Encino, CA (July 6, 2011) – ACM Lifting Lives® announced today that the July theme for its monthly “My Cause” web feature is “Country for Kids.” The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.
ACM Lifting Lives repeated the My Cause opportunity in 2011 by encouraging artists to speak on camera about their favorite charities at the 2011 ACM Awards. My Cause is a way for ACM Lifting Lives to tangibly demonstrate the Academy’s support of country music artists. Many people have been helped by these fantastic charities, and ACM Lifting Lives bolsters that support by increasing awareness and funding for these very deserving causes. Last year, ACM Lifting Lives gave more than $25,000.00 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.
This month, “My Cause: Country for Kids” is highlighting a cause that helps bring happiness into the lives of children whose health is compromised. Donations can be made to the charity using a donate link available with the video. Below is the artist and cause included in the July “Country for Kids” feature.
